Hello Disc Steam 'N' Store Bundle

I used to utilise a menstrual cup for the past 11 years, and it had a capacity of only 10 ml. I was happy with it, although occasional leaks and stains would let me down. So I decided to check the modern market after all and oh boy! It has developed so much! So I decided to try out a menstrual disc. After a thorough research on YouTube and thanks to Period Nirvana channel I decided to get myself a Hello Disk. It's a blast! Absolute favourite. I can travel, work and sleep safe now, knowing that my disk backs me up for at least 10 hours. The only issue is that it takes time to figure out how to insert it well, cause at the beginning while using it, I got some leaks on my underwear. I also had issues when trying for the first time to insert it. My muscles would be so tense, that insertion wouldn't be possible at all. After relaxing myself for several minutes and breathing deep I kinda managed to use it at the end. So 1 star minus. I also think that a pouch should be included in this product, because it's strange for me that a hygienic product is being delivered without a protection. For that another star minus.

Pretty decent appliance for me to sterilise my hello disc and hello cup. Compact size for bringing it with me during traveling. At the beginning I wasn't aware of the fact, that the upper part actually clicks in to the bottom part, so the whole structure at the beginning seemed a bit unstable, especially when storing it away. Now I can see how mistaken I was, so I'm happy to give this product 5 stars. In the past I used to sterilise secretly away from my bf, because I was shy to let him see my period products boiling in the same casserole where he would boil some eggs for breakfast;) Now I am relieved!

first used a Hello menstrual cup 3 years ago, and it completely changed the way I saw my period.
Before that, my period felt like something inconvenient and something I had to endure. But using the cup helped me transform it into a sacred time to connect with my own body. I still remember the feeling of seeing my own menstrual blood collected in the cup — I felt so much love, appreciation, and connection with myself.

These days, I use a menstrual disc, and it has been working wonderfully for me. As I am leaving New Zealand and travelling for three months before returning to Japan, I purchased the Candy as a storage and sterilising case for my disc.

It is so simple, practical, and easy to use. I truly love it! I’ve also been sharing a little about menstrual cups and discs on my own social media, because I personally hope more people learn that there are different ways to manage periods. Since similar products are available in Japan under different brands, I really hope more people there get to know that there are options like this as well.

Absolute game changer, I have never used any reusable products before so decided to go all out and try out a disc for the first time. I am so glad I did, super easy to use and remove, not overly messy either.

Best decision ever made! I'd been thinking about getting one of the discs for a long time because I was sick of wrestling with the moon cup. Any time I'd go to the toilet it felt like it would need to reinserted, increasingly it would be that I just couldn't get it to sit right. I'm fairly certain I have a high cervix. I've used the menstrual disc once and I'm absolutely sold. It was crazy how comfortable it was! I couldn't get over how it was easy to insert. I can go to the toilet and not have to do anything with it. It's not constantly leaking. I literally just pop it in and go about my day. It's so nice to only have to empty it once or twice max. It's amazing and I'm pretty sure I'll be trying to convince everyone to get one.

Only used once so far on one of my heaviest days, no leaks so far. Definitely a learning curve for insertion and getting it to sit comfortably and correctly. Those who are especially sensitive (like me) will likely be able to feel it, though it's not painful or massively uncomfortable just noticable. Removal is extremely easy but in my case quite messy each time, might just require more practice. Storage is no issue at all, it's discreet and portable. Although hygiene wise having to sterilise in a pan of boiling water before and after each cycle is a hassle so will be looking into the steamer. Overall a great experience and will be even better once the kinks of using it have been worked out.

Absolute game changer! For someone that has always needed applicators the insertion is a bit complex but you get used to it. Would love to have an applicator for this product!

Have used a cup for 10 years, was looking for a new one and read that you can have sex with a disk. Well, let me just say, this product did not disappoint! I emptied it prior as a precaution and there was no leaking during or after and he couldn't feel it.
Period wise, I had to wear back up for the first heavy full 10hr wear at work, needed nothing the 2nd day. Easier to insert than a cup, no having to get the suction right, and easier to remove.
I also found the 2nd tab too long and trimmed it back to one. Perfect.

Love this, great for anyone, but ESPECIALLY if you travel for a job or are a ship performer. Imagine all the savings of not having to buy overpriced menstrual products at every port!!

I started using the disposable Cora discs because my friend had convinced me to try, and I was nervous but once I figured out how to ACTUALLY put it in correctly, I was sold. I watched her videos on the different types of discs to see which would be the best for me, and ultimately chose this one because she was Dr. Disc in my mind and created it with such intentional features.

I'm a performer and am often wearing clothes ranging from a full jumpsuit to just a g-string. So when I tell you I TRUST THIS, I 100% mean it. If I was performing in a show on my period, I would have to time when to pop a fresh tampon in to reduce any chance of potential leakage. But now I literally just show up to the dressing room and re-insert the disc hours before without any worries or any spills.

I waited a bit to give a review because I wanted to make sure I could test it in different circumstances, in and out of costume. Only small thing to note is that the thickness between a disposable and reusable disc is a bit different, so that was an adjustment to "firmly grasp it" lol. But other than that small learning curve, I've not had any issues with insertion, removal, or cleanliness! 10/10 would repurchase a backup!!

First time user. I did not feel like I was on my cycle. I did need to use a liner for the heavy first day and change more often but after that I wore it for 6+hours. Love, love, love it

I’ve always struggled to get on with tampons and the chemicals in them is alarming. I’ve tried the menstrual cup but found it got a bit messy if I slept with one in the morning after.(digging for gold essentially)

I swear this disc has reduced my pain, don’t know if that’s a thing? But I would absolutely recommend this brand of disc to anyone, the pull tab on it makes such a difference and is so easy to clean and use.

I wish I tried this sooner. Best product I have come accross.

I love, love, love, LOVE this. I wish I knew about it sooner. I used to dread getting my period and while it’s still not my favourite thing, the menstrual disk just makes it so much easier. I thought it would take a while to get used to but honestly I was so happy and comfortable after using it just after one cycle. I am never going back. I recommend this to anyone who will listen.

Honestly, game changer. Haven’t found tampons or cups comfortable and they tend to add to my cramping/period pain. Nothing with the disc. No leaking even over night on day one.

Fantastic! It’s a great case to carry my disc in for travel and just everyday as well to drop it in my bag. But it’s also great for actually sanitizing it in my microwave! Super fast and takes no time or anything more than water and a few minutes! I also already have the steamer and love it but now I can do this anywhere anytime and don’t need to plug anything in!

Honestly SO GREAT! Easy to use and I love that it doubles as a little storage for my disc in between uses. Very satisfied with the product!

I have always been a bit skeptical about menstrual cups, mainly due to them holding in place via suction and always being paranoid that one misplaced cough would be enough to dislodge it. When I chanced upon Hello Disc, I really liked the design and the ease of use, and now that I have used it a couple times, I can say that all the other reviews are right! The FAQ page and instructions were really useful, and I didn't have any issues using it correctly. Even with very heavy periods, I found wearing it for 6+ hours was no issue. Rinsing it out can be a bit difficult if you need to, especially if you are in a public restroom, but honestly with how long you can wear it before needing to change, I found that this really wasn't a problem as I almost always was able to change them before I left for the day and then after I came home.

Can't recommend this enough!

First time user so can’t compare brands. I can however say it’s made a massive difference to me. Initially I was worried about using a disc but I shouldn’t have been. Easy to use, not messy like I expected and I can’t feel it when in use! Converted.
