The best!

After being used to the c-fold, I found it a bit tricky at first, especially after needing to dump and reinsert with it being warm (tmi🤷🏻‍♀️). But after the first day I understood the new mechanics. What I absolutely love is that it is so much lighter weight than the other brands, so even when it’s full, I can only barely tell, whereas other cups I almost felt like it was going to come out. And I will say, I always felt my other cups making me wonder if it was doing something to my pelvic floor, like in a negative way ; and this cup I barely feel at all!! And when I use the restroom I don’t feel like I’m pushing it out also. The ball on the end is so nice to have for gripping purposes. I found this cup because, for the first time in like 10 years, I got my cup “lost” inside and my DH had to come to my rescue. 😱❤️ I am so glad that there are so many different shape and size options!! Everything about this cup is so good!

Finally, a Cup That Actually Works

I didn’t expect much and was very pleasantly surprised.

I’ve only been using Hello Cup High Cervix for a short time, but the difference is already obvious. Over the years, I’ve gone through more than ten menstrual cups and discs, and all except one of them failed me in one way or another. So Hello Cup is only the second cup I’ve ever used that actually does what it’s supposed to, and finding it feels like a minor miracle, because my previous reliable option was discontinued. (It was Lumma H+ – mentioning in case anyone else is in a similar frustration, looking for an alternative for that product)

I was initially skeptical about Hello Cup firmness. A firmer cup I tried before caused intense cramps, so I approached this one cautiously. But it turned out to be completely different: no discomfort, no cramping, just a secure, comfortable fit. It opens easily, stays in place, and maintains a good seal.

The handle deserves a special mention. It’s genuinely well-made: easy to grip, simple to remove, and the rounded end is gentle. It sounds basic, but it isn’t – some cups have surprisingly sharp or uncomfortable ends. This one is practically unnoticeable during use, which is exactly what you want from a menstrual cup.

There are a couple of minor downsides. The inner bottom has a deeper, slightly awkward section that can be a bit harder to clean. It’s also on the smaller side in terms of capacity, so you may need to empty it more often. Still, neither of these issues outweighs the overall performance.

Customer service also stood out. My first order got lost, but I was sent a replacement without hassle. The process was a bit slow, but the communication was refreshingly human: clear, thoughtful, and responsive. That kind of interaction is rare enough to be worth mentioning.

All in all, this cup just works. It’s comfortable, reliable, and thoughtfully designed. I’m already considering stocking up to avoid going through the search again.

At this point, you can count me as a convert—I’d definitely recommend it!

Try this one second

I don't know if it's just me, but I had trouble with my first menstrual cup from another brand, which really struggled to pop open, especially during the summer months - perhaps because it was made from soft silicone. I heard that the Hello Cup was the firmest on the market, so I decided to try this one.

Pros:
- Much thicker and less flexible than my previous silicone cup, meaning that even in hot weather it has popped open within seconds of insertion every. single. time. T_T This is what I was hoping for and I'm so pleased!
- Barely leaks at all, even during heaviest flow days!
- High cervix design means I'm not fishing around and panicking over where it's gone. Score!
- Thick, knobby stem makes it so much easier to grasp and pull out - and less likely to snap off as happened to my last cup o.0

Cons:
- Much thicker and less flexible than my previous cup, meaning that sometimes I'm conscious of its presence - similar to, but not nearly as bad as, wearing a tampon
- for the same reason, I'm really glad this wasn't my first cup - it's a little trickier to get in and out. I really needed that softer, thinner cup to start with.

I'm really happy with this product - if you've had trouble with cups popping open and staying open, but don't do any better with a smaller/teen sized cup, try this one!

We're so glad to hear how easy you have found it! Love from team Hello Period xx

Still Leaking…

After all of these reviews, I thought THIS one would be the one! I’ve tried 3 different brands of cups, and I still haven’t found one that works for me. The Hello Cup, though comfortable, easy to insert and remove, still didn’t stay put. It’s very stiff and didn’t return to its normal shape after removal. I’m a very active person, and it can get very frustrating when you think it’s IN THERE, PERFECTLY, and one wrong movement ruins my clothes.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave your review. Because Hello Cups are made from medical grade TPE, they will warm and soften to conform to the body making them more comfortable to wear which is why you can find it has changed shape when you remove it. To reshape it to be round, the best thing to do is to run the cup under warm water for a minute or two and then roll it between the plan of your hands.

We also recommend using a shallow punchdown fold with Hello Cups. This helps them open easily and keep their intended shape. The aim is for the fold to not go too much lower than the lettering on the side of the cup.

There could be a few reasons why your cup is leaking and we'd love to help. Check out our helpful tips here: https://helloperiod.com/blogs/menstrual-cup-articles-and-blog/menstrual-cup-leaking

High cervix/long vagina

I was mortified as a 20 something when my doctor told me he needed the long "I call it duck bill" when doing my pap smear as I had a long vagina and elusive cervix, and normal cups are often hard for me to find to pull out and then quite messy to empty.. I didn't want to go back to single use products, so when I saw that there was a cup that could suit my body I decided to try it.. this cup is not only easier to find, but because it's walls are a bit thicker and stronger than cheaper versions its much cleaner when removing and emptying.. it's worth the extra buck to buy this!

I’m still not sure..

I’ve used a period cup before but since having a baby things seem to have changed so I got this one after reading all the great reviews, I really want to love it but it it very difficult to insert and get in the right position, I’m trying to persevere with it!

Best cup so far

I have used a few menstrual cups and all of them is hard to pop open/ unfold inside of me which cause leakage and I have to search pretty deep into my canal to reach the base of the cup (which was hard to get a good grip) to remove. With the new hello cup I no longer have those issues, I’m happy with it

Perfect High Cervix Option!

I adore this cup so much! The length of the cup is so perfect for me, I never have any issues reaching this cup (I was having real problems reaching the stems of other cups and could never get a good grip on the stem) and the little toggle stem is perfect to get a grip onto and wiggle the cup down. The only issue I had with it was it took a while and some manoevring to get open, which I believe can just be a characteristic of TPE cups, and I'm used to silicone so perhaps its just a learning curve.

I had no issues with leaking, pressure on my bladder or the cup dropping down during wear - it held up perfectly to an intense gym class and some hiking so I'm really pleased to have this cup in my back pocket for my period!

Great for those with high cervix

This is a fantastic cup. I was struggling with other brands because I was unable to release the suction from the cup when trying to take it out, but I had zero issues with this one!
A real life-changer! Really pleased with this cup, and definitely recommend.

Great!

At first I was very scared to use it but honestly if I can do it anyone can! It was a bit tricky for the first 5 minutes figuring out the technique but overall was great after getting it in the right position. Perfect for anyone with a high cervix and was easy to find the stem when it was time to take out due to the longer design. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a period!!

Still working it out

Overall, love the idea of diva cups and these guys have very cute packaging, however I haven’t been able to get it to pop out / insert properly. Need to spend more time fiddling to get it to work effectively

Game changer

It’s works 🤗.. I have a cup that fits with no leaking. Had a weekend of hiking, was so nice being out for the day and not having to change tampons when your going for a wild wee. It took some time to make the changes to a cup, then finding the right size. To be honest as soon as I emailed hello, they new why it wasn’t working suggest this.

Yippee!! This is brilliant news! We are so happy to hear that you finally have a cup you can trust! Love from the Hello Cup Team xxx

Perfect for the long vagina people

I was already a fan on Hello cups, the nice round smooth toggles stopped the serious poking problems I had when bushwalking (any walking) with my previous cup.
Then I got hold of one of Hello's long cups. It's ace! It used to be quite a mission get hold of the standard cup toggle after it had made its way... waaay up my vagina. Game changer for a long vagina-ed person. Really enjoying simple cup changes. Nice one Hello, thanks.

Hooray! We're so pleased that your life is now simpler, and that you can reach your cup with ease! Love from the Hello Cup Team xxx

Second chance

This is the one for me. Interestingly, it took until buying a menstrual cup to know that I have a high cervix.
I would recommend gaining a good guess at what you measure at, as the first time I used the incorrect size it almost put me off trying again. Lucky for me I chose to give the High Cervix Hello cup a try and it's pretty prefect.
Bye bye tampons!

We're so glad that you finally have a cup you can have confidence in and reach easily! Thanks so much for letting us know about your experience! Love from the Hello Cup Team xxx
