Hello Pad | OG Clearance Pad

Definitley one of the better designs of period pad ive tried, but i do find them still sliding back in my pants (even with secure cotton pants and the clip done up) leaving me to deal with leaks at the front! So i only really use them as a second layer of protection rather than my main protection.

This company has amazing products and after months of searching trying different ones this is the BEST.

This pad is amazing!! It is my go to when I know my period is coming, I’m in the thick of it, and as backup to my other products. I don’t have any weird smells, it doesn’t make me sweat/get stuck to my butt, and it is so easy to clean.

At 48yrs old, and after having cervical dysplasia for 6yrs, I knew I needed to stop wearing tampons. Menstrual cups are incredibly uncomfortable. My periods are heavy as I go through menopause.
On my 2 heaviest days I usually wear 2 sanitary pads to cover the period underwear, and change a super tampon every 2-3hrs.
I bought these in the hope that I might be able to eliminate using tampons, and having to change my pads.

I am so happy to report that after using them for the first time throughout my heaviest days - I didn't have to wear any tampons!!!!!!
This is a wow for me. I didn't know how absorbable they would be.
I wore them with period undies (I found the Hello period undies uncomfortable compared to the modibody ones).

I placed a sanitary pad just in case, esoecially for overnight as thats when I leak up towards the back but found no leakage!!! So next time I won't need to use them - wooohooo!!! Another wow moment.

They can move around but as long as I have period undies on, it mitigated this. Also, be careful when pulling your undies down to go toilet, as the reusable pad can unclip easily and end up falling into the toilet bowel - yuck!

Clean up is so easy, as you just let the pad run clear while in the shower. Stick the reusable pad and period undies in the wet bag. At the end of the day throw it all in the wash. They also air dry very well.

I wish I knew about these years ago! They are so well worth the money. Not just as a great product which actually does what it says, but also the peace of mind that I'm not wearing tampons and pads that have chemicals on them and are designed to harm my body.

Finally, after my entire menstrual lifetime I can confidently say Goodbye to all of those harmful misogynist products!!!!

Thank you for making the best reusable pads, the material is soft and comfortable, they absorb so well, they don't leave a huge mess, they're easy to clip, easy to wash out, easy to dry. Loooooooooooove them.

My only criticism is coming up with a more secure way to hold them in place without compromising on comfort, and the wash bag needs to be bigger to fit the length of the pad and larger to also accommodate the period undies. I find washing them all in the bag is the best way to protect them.

Other than that - I'm one happy as customer!!!!

Overall, these pads are excellent. I actually didn't realise my period was so heavy until switching to my regular product as they were so effective! They are also surprisingly thin. I have worn them with cotton undies but find them more comfortable and I feel more secure in my bamboo boxers with a floating gusset. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was that they tended to shift when I moved so I'd find myself readjusting more often than I'd like,but pleasingly I had no leaks at all. If I can find tight cotton boxers with a floating gusset, I think the combination will be even better!

Hello period has saved me when my cycle hits, first with the disc (couldn’t get a cup in comfortably) and now with these pads. Other reusables have been too thick or fleecy that it pretty much creates heat which I’m sure many would agree is not an ideal climate for skin and blood. These pads are slim comfortable, easy to wash, don’t irritate or burn my skin like disposables and have no odour! I’m annoyed I waited so long to buy them I could have saved myself heaps of discomfort. Hello really create such thoughtful period products - I am definitely loyal now!

I love these things so much that I just bought 4 more on top of my original purchase to have on hand. I am a disc user, and I usually wear these when I am leaving the house and during the night because you never know when you need a little backup protection. They don't feel bulky and strange like normal pads do, they stay in place, and most importantly, they can hold a lot!

You had my heart when the disc came out and then I finally came round to buying some pads and the pads are a game changer!!! I have never been one to enjoy wearing a pad as it always felt like a nappy and was gross when it came to going to the toilet and having to change it etc (this being disposable pads of course) but with your reusable pads I have worn them with absolute comfort, they stay in place and they absorb so much! I have a heavy period and I usually would need to empty my disc or change a tampon every 2hrs and with the pad I can wear it all day and no leaks, no mess, no smell, its been such a good experience! and to pair the pad with the disc is just excellent.

I have been searching for a pad that’s reusable and not bulky to wear for a long time. These are just perfect!
While I have a slight bladder leakage and not every day I only really need a liner but I do not like waste and everything I found was so bulky and made me feel self conscious.

I think these pads are great. So absorbent and do not leak even on very heavy days. I feel very safe with them on. I will get more for sure.

10/10 for absorbency, they stay dry, fuss free laundry instructions. They tick all boxes for me except unfortunately the fit is really bad. The front corners dig into my groin, and they slide around (and out) of my undies. I’m a small size 8. Unsure if it’s a fit thing, or perhaps user error? I imagine it’s near impossible to design a one size fits all pad, and I would honestly take good absorbency and leak free over comfort. I use their undies which have the same pad inner - they’re amazing. Majority of the reviews are super positive so my experience with fit is a minority.

This is hands down the best reusable pad on the market.
It's lightweight, comfortable, holds a lot and just feels nice against the skin.

The clip strap at the back is great as it stays in place but for me did take some fiddling to undo.

I will be buying more.

I wanted to love this pad, but I have found the strap so fiddly that it has been relegated to the back of the drawer unfortunately. Love the silicone to stop the pad moving around but don't find it enough to use without the strap.

Very hand and absorbent. Just a suggestion, it would be awesome if it could be paired with a reusable doubled sided sticky thing to bond the pad to the undies. Like the sticky material on the reusable lint roller things.

This feels very comfortable next to my skin compared to disposable pads and also to some period underwear I've tried (from another brand). I also like that it doesn't feel very thick. I use it in combination with other methods, so haven't had any overflow. The hook does come undone, I wonder if there's an orientation for front to back so the hook would stay closed better. Nevertheless, thanks to the grips the pad itself stays in place despite the hook opening, unless I take the underwear off.

I have been using washable period pads for a while, but only recently bought my first pad from hello. This pad is my new favourite as it is nice and thin, while still very absorbent (many of my other pads are pretty bulky). I also really like the strap - it actually stays closed, while the little push buttons on many other pads often pop open during use. The shape of the pad is another great feature as it is actually the shape of your underwear and therefore means the pad stays in place much better than regular shaped pads. I will be back for more!

I really like these pads and the flexibility of being able to wear with different pairs of undies (eg instead of a whole pair of period undies). The strap for me is problematic - the hook comes undone very easily and the pad flies out when taking off your undies to go toilet! I have had some near misses. Aside from that, the pad itself is comfortable and holds a lot, doesn’t smell, washes well.

Love these! They are absorbent and comfortable. I have replaced all of my period products with these and won’t be looking back.

I have five of these now. I’m very grateful to the women who are responsible for this. A big thank you. The straps do rub against the very delicate corner between your thigh and private area / groin, though. The straps are not the easiest to remove, the fabric bunches up into itself so you can’t unhook the straps. The pad does not seem to stay in place either. I wonder if there could be another version that borrows the button design and style from the pantiliners instead? Thank you

I was so excited when I saw Hello started doing reusable pads! I have vulvodynia so find reusable period wear hard to find as cups are too painful to use and not all the undies on the market are made equal. My pain inflames around my period and I find the material of the reusable pads so much gentler and breathable than wearing disposable pads which makes for a happier period experience! These pads are so reliable too! They are much more absorptive than disposable pads and are so much better with side leakage. I can wear them out and not worry about any mishaps. The only issue I have with them is when I take my underwear off ie to go to the bathroom the pad will move around a bit which isn’t ideal when it’s full, and sometimes the belt comes undone, I think it has also stretched a little or is a touch too long. They do slide side to side a bit throughout the day but a bit of quick adjustment fixes that. Other than that I love these and have bought myself more so I’ll eventually have a full set!

These are so good! It barely feels like I'm wearing a pad, so easy to wash and dry too. My 12-year old daughter loves these too - she only wears period undies otherwise because she hates any other pads.

I love the idea behind hello period and the company, but honestly these were such a huge miss for me :(

They're so bulky and stiff - there's no flexibility so they're incredibly uncomfortable (especially in comparison to the hello liners!), They weren't breathable at all for me, so I was just such a sweaty disaster - I wish I hadn't purchased these as they are pretty pricey. I was so excited for them as they're supposed to be only 2mm thick, but they are massive and feel like there's a piece of plastic in your underwear. I'm sure they will be more successful for other people - these ones just weren't right for me!

Love the idea but it was larger than expected so it didn’t quite fit my underwear and took longer to dry, it didn’t dry overnight on a drying rack, it had to be in the dryer which I found inconvenient.

Really absorbant and definitely can replace an overnight pad. The only issue is that the elastic fastener comes undone.

Love these! The reusable pads I used in the past were thick and bulky and uncomfortable and often moved out of place at night. So I tried using period undies instead, but the thick padding over my bottom gave me eczema. So I had gone back to using disposable pads (I sleep more than 8 hours so don’t like using cups or discs for sleeping due to the risk of TSS). When I saw these I decided I might as well give them a try. I’m very impressed! They are thin and comfortable and stay in place while I sleep while being very absorbing (I can bleed heavily at night). No eczema!! So happy!!!
